This Friday the 23rd of March marks a date of release for this years (thus far) highly anticipated rpg Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom. Level-5 and Bandai Namco’s colorful and emotional story of a boy destined to go through trials and tribulations to take his rightful place as the King of Ding Dong Dell and bring peace to a Kingdom that’s in turmoil. The sequel to Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch takes place 100 years after the events of the first game and promises players an emotional and enchanting journey across Ding Dong Dell. Only with the help of his courageous companions can Evan reclaim his Kingdom and build an even better one.
From everything that we’ve seen thus far from Bandai and Level-5, Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom looks gorgeous. Although Studio Ghibli was not involved in this project as they were in the first game, we can still see the inspiration pulled from the studio’s many number of movies and video games. The music and games soundtracks also sound superb from what has been showcased and I cannot wait to hear the full original soundtrack from the game.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom releases this Friday on the 23rd of March 2018. And if you’ve never heard about it before or perhaps still sitting on the fence, check out the launch trailer below.
