E3 2018 thus far has been on fire. Even EA had my top picks and I really had high hopes for Square Enix. Those hopes were severely shattered however, as we were shown what seemed to be a bunch of games and trailers that we’ve all already seen. I’m not sure why Square even had a conference as most of these announcements seemed like they would have fitted perfectly into the BIG three conferences Microsoft, Sony and Nintendo. Whatever the case may have been we still did get a few minutes of a few joyful moments including game-play from the Shadow of the Tomb Raider, an explosive action trailer from Just Cause 4 and….and….umm well and a whole lot of trailer footage already seen such as Dragon Quest XI, Kingdom Hearts III and Octopath Traveller. I will admit one thing that did hype me a bit and that’s the crossover between Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter World. Not much was shown on it but the tease was fun. Check out all the trailers below that intrigued me.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider
Just Cause 4
Final Fantasy XIV x Monster Hunter World
Later this evening or rather in about an hour we’ll have the pleasure of checking out what Ubisoft has on offer. There is one game I really want more on and that’s The Division 2.
