E3 2018 – Microsoft Conference EXCLUSIVE

Well that wraps it up for the Microsoft “Exclusive” conference. Truth be told, I don’t own an Xbox nor do I play much on my PC however I sure am glad I watched this evenings conference as there were a ton of amazing announcements. As with EA’s conference here are my top picks.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps
I haven’t played the first Ori but I have heard and seen quite a bit on it and just as it was with what I seen on the first, this one looks absolutely gorgeous!

Fallout 76
I really did not expect Bethesda to announce Fallout 76 at the Microsoft conference and we received a nice little trailer with some game-play snippets in the trailer. However I’m sure that we’ll see the true crux of this next installment in the Bethesda conference in a few hours. It was however announced that Fallout 76 is four times larger than Fallout 4…Mind Blown!!

Kingdom Hearts III
Let it gooooo, let it gooooo. Although I’m not the biggest Kingdom Hearts fan out there I did enjoy the previous games in the series and Kingdom Hearts III looks just as good if not better. And no I’m not a Frozen fan but I have watched the movie more than fifteen times thanks to my daughters. Kingdom Hearts III is set for the 29 January 2019

The Division 2
OH MY FREAKING GOD. I completely lost myself upon seeing the game-play on this title. We knew it was announced but after seeing the game-play minus the game chat of course, I cannot wait to jump back into the shoes of a Division Agent after only jumping into The Division really late in June 2017, I played it with three of my close co-op buddies for months before things slowed down for us and we jumped into Astera – Monster Hunter World. The Division 2 is set for the 15 March 2019.

Tales of Vesperia Definitive Edition
My first Tales game was Tales of Eternia on the Sony PSP and since I’ve tried to play and collect as many as I could in the series. With most of my collection being on the PlayStation 3 it was unfortunately tough to acquire a copy of Tales of Vesperia on the PS3 here in South Africa so with the rumors of Vesperia receiving a remastered version I was super excited to see this announced in tonight’s conference.

And finally Jump Force
This trailer took me by surprise. Although I’m not a huge fighting genre fan I do love Anime and to see heroes from all my favorite anime shows in this trailer was Epic! Check out the trailer below with Lufy, Goku and Naruto below…and don’t forget to check out the tease of Death Note.

Well that’s it for Microsoft E3 2018, next up we have Bethesda in just about three hours. The Microsoft conference had plenty of other announcements such as Gears of War 5, Just Cause 4, Forza Horizon 4, Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Cyberpunk 2077.
