Welcome back Life Controllers,
This week I’m doing something a little different and going to be chatting about the meaning behind my logo. Now, if you follow me on social media or seen my previous post on Comic Con, you’ll probably have already seen it. I’ve been working on different concepts for a few months now and this one just stood out for me. I wanted something that not only looked cool, but also encompassed my message that I’d like to ring across the country as well as the world. Something that when looked at reminds people that we always have control of our lives and the decisions we make. And yes, of course I know at times that this may not seem to be the case and it may seem that life deals us a bad hand. But remember, what we do after that hand is dealt is completely up to us. I, myself have been through trials and tribulations through out my life. And admittedly through out everyone of those times, whilst the moment inhabited my life, I felt as if the hope was lost, gone, drowned into an abyss. I saw only darkness and no light. BUT every single time there was one thing that I did, and that was keep my head up high. Because if we’re always looking down, especially during dark times, how would we see the light shining. Shining, to break out through the clouds. Shining, to clear up the rain and produce a rainbow. Shining, to let in the light that family, God and friends always bring forth by standing by your side.
This is the shine I’d like to bring forth with my logo and in turn Controller of Life. We all have the power to Control our Life. So, make sure you grab it, grab that hypothetical ‘control’ and make every day count. Just as you would grab a video game controller and take your character through their journeys of life.
And if you ever feel alone and isolated, remember, just as every JRPG title has the main protagonist gathering a party of members before they take on their battles, so can you. Friends, family, God and yes even I, will be there. I may not know you personally but I am always willing to listen, offer advice and yes also help where I can. Let us take Control of our Life together, Life Controllers.
I wrote this and posted it to my Instagram, Facebook and twitter pages but I believe that it rightfully belongs in this post as well:
It may seem at times that life in itself is just out of our Control. We receive lemons, but who the heck really knows how to make lemonade, right. We struggle daily, internally, emotionally and sometimes even physically. We all have different belief’s, lives and loves. We all travel different paths in life. Each of us at our own pace. BUT one thing remains the same, and that is the ability to Dream. It is in this that we all push forward everyday to take ‘Control’ of our ‘Life’. The logo below symbolizes my Control on Life. The C is of course for Control and since I’m such a huge fan of anime and Japanese culture, you know I had to add in the Japanese noun in there which means Life. So keep working hard, raise that head up high, shoot down the people that tell you no and make sure that the Control of your Life remains in your hands.
I’d like to thank everyone that has supported me so far in sharing my blog posts, posts on SaGamer.co.za, liking my Instagram posts, interacting with me on twitter and facebook and liking and sharing my Youtube videos (I know I haven’t posted in a while but will try and get something out soon… rAge Expo 2018 is around the corner). I know together if we support one another, shoot down the hate and spread the love, we can grow the community and make it blossom.
Speaking about blossoming, since I didn’t cover some local talent this week, I’d like to still spread some love and share with you all, the local talent I’ve mentioned on my previous blog posts. They’re all super talented, each with their own personalities, goals and dreams. So please give them a follow and support them.
